Donna Raphael is originally from the Commonwealth of Dominica, a beautiful island in the Caribbean. She has been living in Florida since 2006.
She is a musician, front-end web developer, internet analyst and a project manager, overseeing the full project lifecycle of small to large-scale software applications. Her past career experiences also include the marketing and advertising industry where she held multiple positions in social media marketing, email marketing and web development management.
Donna recently completed her Master’s Degree in Network and Communications Management with a concentration in Project Management. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Web Development and Administration.
In addition to her technology degrees, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Full Sail University in Recording Arts. There, she received a perfect attendance award and a course director award in audio file management and documentation. She also won the mix competition in her sessions recording class and received a certificate for her accomplishment. Donna is also a past member of Grammy U.
She is always looking for new and innovative ways to integrate her knowledge of what she’s learned about music, audio/sound and technology. She strongly believes that all girls and women should know at least the fundamentals of code and the technology industry since this is the direction the future is heading in.
